Diese überlagerten Textarbeiten stellen den bildhaften, figurativen Aspekt
eines „Schriftbildes“ in den Vordergrund. Der Text-Inhalt kann hier nicht
wirken, da er unlesbar ist. Das Bild tritt nach vorne. Aber dennoch ist der
Inhalt des Kurztextes essentiell. Er ist sozusagen komprimiert vorhanden,
er ist Grundlage des Bildes, ohne ihn gäbe es das Bild nicht.

These overlaying texts bring out the image character and figurative aspect of typeface. The content of the text has no bearing, as it is illegible. Rather, it is all about the appearance of the letters. However, the content is important all the same. In fact, in its compressed, garbled state, it forms the basis of the image – without it, the image would not exist.
